Our Story...

Straight from the Tides of Alaska to Southern Idaho...A story about friendship, determination and really good Smoked Salmon Dip!

It started the way a lot of good Idaho stories do - around the kitchen counter.

Two girls from different parts of the country that met and came together in a little town called Nampa, Idaho. Both raised on small-town values, big skies and the belief that homemade always tastes better. Growing up on potlucks, fishing trips, family recipes and towns where everyone waves, even if they don't know you. Food wasn't just food, it was connection.

Growing up in Alaska, Michelle was accustomed to the outdoors and an abundance of Salmon. The taste was so fresh, so rich and so perfectly balanced that it could stop anyone mid bite to rave. It wasn't just delicious, it felt like a story to be told. 

Southern Florida was home to Natalee. She experienced the outdoors as well but fished a little differently as it was the Atlantic Ocean and catching mainly Mahi and Snapper. The salty sea air was her paradise but bigger things were coming in the West.

Michelle and Natalee met in a Women's social group in Idaho and had an instant connection. One day in 2025, an idea began a reality and they did what Idaho girls do best: They rolled up their sleeves and got to work. 

What began as small test batches in a home kitchen turned into late-night recipe tweaking, early-morning taste tests and a lot of friends and family willing to be "official tasters." They wanted something different - a smoked salmon dip that felt elevated but still approachable. Something that could sit on a fancy Charcuterie board or scooped up with a cracker at a backyard party. Something that tasted like Alaska but felt like home. 

Michelle catches the Salmon in Kasilof, Alaska and brings it back to Nampa to smoke and prepare. She perfected a creamy, savory blend that lets the fish shine without being overpowering. She focuses on small batches, real ingredients and the kind of flavor that makes people pause and say, "Wait, I didn't know I liked Salmon!"

Word spread the way it does in Idaho - through Farmers Markets, Local Events, word of mouth and friends bringing it to every gathering. Soon their little kitchen project became a full fledged Alaskan Smoked Salmon Business rooted in 2 places at once: the rugged waters of Alaska and the warm, hardworking communities of Southern Idaho. 

Their mission is simple:

Bring a taste of Alaska to the people they love, without losing the heart of where they come from. 

Today, their business is built on friendship, family and a shared belief that good food brings people together. They're still the same 2 girls at heart. Still taste-testing, experimenting and laughing in the kitchen. Still believing that the best things in life are made with care and shared with others.
